unskilled in modern man’s falsehood
past crimes, prison fingernails
Johnny pretending to strum

VARIOUS SPHERES OF LIFE EXISTED IN EDEN
Adam, courteous and caring
Eve, loving and full of amusement
God, mysterious and distant
creation seemed like a debt
waiting to be repaid
Adam and Eve had self-knowledge
Adam had witness to being masculine
Eve had witness to being female
there were procedural guidelines
the Assailant was there also
it was true to its nature
each morning
direct dealings
with the deceiver
interaction lead to transgression
Adam and Eve painfully tossed to the curb
the daily tics and mannerisms no longer pleasing
